Yesterday's interview was great until I was asked to interpret a short English paragraph and do a sight interpreting from Chinese to English.
It was embarrassing. The delivery barely had a flow, and I was stuck on several words. I had to pause and repeat some 5 times! I could see his leering and impatience at the corner of my eye as I was struggling to figure out how to rephrase the sentence, what the equivalence is of that character, and how to understand those strange combinations of characters.
It was a fiasco. I had lost in front of my endearing future manager.
Do not fear going slow, only fear standing still.
